known as Autism, parents usually notice signs in the first two or three years of their child&#8217;s life, characterized by troubles with social interaction and communication, restricted and repetitive behavior. Often accompanied by mental retardation, some children show unusual abilities such as the memorization of trivia to the extraordinarily rare talents of prodigious autistic savants.<br \/>\u200b<br \/>There is no shortcut to treating Autism. To improve children&#8217;s symptoms, western medicine mainly uses special education and medication. TCM treated Autism by children&#8217;s acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine. It is characterized by problems paying attention, excessive activity, or difficulty controlling behavior which is not appropriate for a person&#8217;s age.<\/p>\n<p>In children, problems paying attention may result in poor school performance, conduct disorder and lack social adaptation, which can affect their academic, physical and mental health, and their married life and social skills.<\/p>\n<p>TCM believes that ADHD connects with organs dysfunction, it affects people&#8217;s emotions and temperament. Through the four diagnostic criteria to determine the patient&#8217;s organ\u2019s qi and blood, and then give the treatment based on the individual symptom, the main method is the herb of Chinese medicine and acupuncture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>During child growth state, active and easy to distraction are normal, some parents may think their children have similar symptom as children with ADHD. Parents can let their child have Chinese medicine or to the hospital for testing to confirm. Some common tics are eye blinking, throat clearing, sniffing, nodding and shaking his head and facial movements. Most children onset between 4 and 12 years of age, boys are more likely to have Tic Disorder than girls, often accompanied by hyperactivity, attention cannot be concentrated and other symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Tourette is quite new to many parents and in most instances:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>When the child appears wink, shook his head shrugs and other symptoms, parents think their child is just being naughty;<\/li>\n<li>Some parents who had learned a little about tic disorder, when their children found licking lips, playing tongue and other bad habits, sometimes might over-worried and mistakenly think their child suffering from tic disorder;<\/li>\n<li>Parents who had children were diagnosed with a tic disorder, might feel overwhelmed, do not know how to treat tic disorder.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The above situation may allow children to miss the best treatment period. Because of tic disorder, most of the children with tic disorder show very poor self-control. At school, they are easily criticized by their teachers or mock by their classmates, it may hurt their feeling.<\/p>\n<p>When parents suspect the child may have a tic disorder, can bring the children to pediatric neurology or psychology to have a body check, if diagnosed, you can first choose psychological behavior treatment.
